Composite Doors
Using modern high performance materials, our composite entrance doors faithfully replicate the traditional grained look of natural timber. Unlike painted wood, the only maintenance needed is an occasional wipe with a damp cloth. A three-seal PVCu outer frame ensures excellent draught and sound-proofing. Composite doors are available in five standard colours, with a white finish on the inside as well as 8 premium colours or they can be specified in any RAL colour (Additional cost and extended leadtime). Complementary matching fixed panels with glazing are available for any door style or threshold.

Understanding energy efficiency
Window Energy Ratings rate windows from ‘A/A+’ to ‘G’ using a ‘traffic-light’ type colour code. To meet building regulations, all new windows must achieve a minimum WER ‘C’ rating or U-value of 1.6 or less. Doors and Conservatories are not rated in the same way but both our products are equally as energy efficient as our windows ensuring your home performs well.
Design that keeps you warm
All Formula One windows and doors use a German engineered, thermally efficient five chamber PVCu system which creates a barrier between cold air outside and warm air inside. It’s also been designed to accommodate the most energy efficient triple-glazed insulated units.

- All our frames are manufactured using high impact, high performance PVCu extruded to a defined European Standard of quality and consistency, covering aesthetic appearance, dimensions, colour fastness and strength of welds.
- All our doors can be manufactured to BS7412/ PAS24, the specification for PVC-U extruded profiles with heat welded corner joints.
- Manufactured in accordance with ISO9001
(British Standards Quality Assurance System), security hardware conforms to PAS 24 (the specification for enhanced security performance)and our security enhanced doors are also passed by the official police security initiative Secured by Design.
